For Sale:   Own a piece of Chevrolet history.  The chance to own the first or last of any rare care is does not come up often.  This is especially true if it reasonably priced.   On may 14th, 1969 the last Corvairs rolled of the assembly line where they were hand built.  Chevrolet only produced 521 convertibles out of the total production of 6000 Corvairs built that year at the Willow Run assembly plant.  Car vin# 6000 was the last car an Olympic gold Monza coupe which GM said was destroyed.  Car vin# 5999 a lemans blue Monza coupe belongs to the Corvair Preservation Foundation and is currently on display in a mueseum.  Car vin# 5998 was recently confirmed to be a coupe and has not been accounted for.  Car vin # 5997 is my frost green Monza convertible is confirmed to be the last convertible built.  The car is a true survivor with absolutely no rust original interior, numbers matching powertrain, original top and one repaint.  Car was sold in Berkly California by Maggini Chevrolet and still retains its original black California plates and original dealer plate frames.  This car drives wonderfully and only has 74000 miles.  Have extensive records on the car and documentation.  Email oabristow@live.com

This is a 1/8 mile track so do not know how the new converter will do.  I will definitely have to adjust my launch technique with the new converter and the skinny wheels in the front. I will update soon..
